Imogen Reid is a contemporary british painter, working mainly in oil on copper and wood panel. Building on a strong realist tradition her narrative pieces engage with individuals' personal memories, raising questions about social conditioning, heritage, and identity. Since graduating from Central Saint Martins (Byam Shaw) with a post-graduate diploma in Fine Art in 2010 she has exhibited with the London Group, at the Bankside Gallery, and been commissioned for portraits.
